Are You Our Next CNC Mill Setup and Production Machinist?

Where: Austintown, OH

When: Mon–Thu, 10-hour off-shift with flexible start between 3:00 PM and 9:00 PM

Questions to Consider

• Can you interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings without missing a detail?
• Do you set up and run 3–5 axis VMCs with confidence on Fanuc, Mazak, or Haas controls?
• Are you comfortable tweaking G-code and offsets to consistently hold .001"?
• Do you document production data accurately and keep machines running smoothly?

Role Snapshot

• Set up and operate CNC milling centers to meet part specifications and quality standards.
• Read and apply information from drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
• Monitor machining, make adjustments, and troubleshoot to sustain throughput and quality.
• Conduct routine maintenance and basic repairs to minimize downtime.
• Follow safety requirements and company policies at all times.
• Log production metrics and machine performance with precision.
• Work with the team to refine processes and drive continuous improvement.
• Use a tape measure, micrometer, vernier, or caliper correctly for inspections.

What You’ll Need

• High school diploma (or equivalent); vocational/technical CNC training preferred.
• Proven experience as a CNC Mill Operator or related machinist role.
• Strong understanding of CNC programming and G-code.
• Blueprint fluency and comfort with technical documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to hold tolerances to .001".
• Familiarity with quality control practices and precision measurement tools.
• Detail orientation, problem-solving mindset, and effective communication skills.
• Collaborative approach in a fast-paced production setting.
