Position Overview:

Are you a Nurse Practioner or Physician Assistant seeking a better work-life balance? Whether you're retired, semi-retired, or simpley looking to continue doing what you love on a more flexible schedule, this could be the perfecct fit for you.  As a Healthcare Provider at Medi-Weightloss®, you will play a crucial role in educating patients on creating and maintaining a wellness-focused lifestyle that promotes longevity and quality of life. This approach is fundamental in preventing and managing chronic diseases. Under the supervision of the Medical Director, you will provide comprehensive patient care, including conducting physical exams, managing patient progress, and contributing to overall patient care management.

We are currently looking for a compassionate and experienced provider to join our team on a part-time basis. This role involves rotating weekends and floating between our Roswell and Woodstock locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Obtain and review patients' medical histories relevant to their care
• Conduct physical examinations
• Order and review laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures
• Prescribe FDA-approved appetite suppressants according to state and federal guidelines
• Review patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary
• Maintain all required documentation for patient care and medication management
• Conduct patient consultations and follow-up calls to address progress and concerns
• Provide training to clinical and non-clinical staff as needed
• Document patient progress in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
• Perform additional clinical duties as required

Qualifications:

• Valid Medical License (Required)
• DEA Certification (Preferred)
• Active CAQH profile preferred; credentialed provider (preferred)
• A team player who is passionate about Changing Lives (Required)
• Experience performing minimally evasive procedures (Plus)
• A willingness to be trained, adopt and be a champion for HRT (Required)
• Bilingual- English/Spanish (Plus)

Woodstock Clinic Hours: 

• Tuesday: 7 AM – 1PM
• Wednesday: 11:30AM – 3PM
• Friday: 7 AM – 1 PM
• Saturday: 7 AM – 1 PM
  

Roswell Clinic Hours:

• Wednesday: 4PM - 7PM
• Thursday: 8 AM - 12 PM
• Saturday: 7 AM – 11 AM

Job Type: Part-Time

Work Location: In-Person, float - Woodstock, GA; Roswell, GA; but willing to travel to other locations in GA as needed.
