Responsibilities:

The Credentialing Specialist is responsible for provider credentialing duties. As a Credentialing Specialist you will:

• Gather, track, and process newly-hired provider’s credentialing documents
• Maintain practitioner credentialing / re-credentialing documentation
• Submit and oversee provider background checks with approved vendor
• Request, maintain, and terminate practitioner malpractice insurance coverage
• Responsible for state fingerprinting requirements
• Assist in auditing delegated credentialing functions

Qualifications:

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience working in a managed care, hospital, or medical office environment
• Two or more years of experience of provider multi state credentialing
• Proficient understanding of multi-state provider licensure, certification, collaborating agreements
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
