Credentialing Specialist

As a  Credentialing Specialist , you’ll play a key role in maintaining the integrity and quality of our healthcare network by ensuring every provider meets the highest standards of compliance and professionalism. What You’ll Do:

• Review and verify provider credentials, including education, training, licensure, and certifications.
• Prepare and submit applications for provider enrollment with insurance plans and organizations.
• Maintain accurate credentialing records and track expirations to ensure timely renewals.
• Collaborate with providers, office staff, and management to ensure applications are processed efficiently.
• Stay current on medical terminology, credentialing standards, and healthcare regulations.
• Assist with developing and updating credentialing policies and procedures.
• Respond to inquiries from providers and staff regarding credentialing and enrollment status.

What You Bring:

• Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare regulations.
• Prior experience in a medical office, billing, or managed care environment preferred.
• Familiarity with credentialing standards, payer enrollment, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and accuracy in recordkeeping.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Proficiency with computer systems and database management.
