Job Description

Description We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Foster City, California. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in cloud data platforms and a hands-on approach to data engineering tasks. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing data solutions to support business objectives. Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and other cloud-based tools. - Create and implement clear documentation for data models, processes, and workflows. - Build and manage data visualization solutions using Power BI to support analysis and decision-making. - Automate repetitive tasks and processes by leveraging Power Automate. - Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights. - Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data solutions align with business needs. - Troubleshoot and optimize data systems to enhance performance and reliability. - Ensure the security and integrity of data throughout the lifecycle. - Assist in the migration and integration of systems to Azure-based environments when necessary. Requirements - Proficiency in Microsoft Azure and related cloud data platforms. - Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory for building and managing data pipelines. - Strong ability to create data visualizations using Power BI. - Familiarity with Power Automate for workflow automation. - Proven expertise in data analysis and analytics, with a focus on actionable insights. - Ability to work independently and handle diverse aspects of data engineering without being siloed. - Excellent documentation skills for data processes and models. - Experience in smaller company environments where versatility and adaptability are key.
