Job Summary
We're looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this position, you will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data in our systems to support company operations. This position is suitable for organized individuals who appreciate working in a fast-paced workplace and maintaining data integrity. As a remote role available only to applicants from the United States, you will contribute to efficient processes while enjoying flexible work-from-home arrangements.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure high accuracy when entering and updating data from diverse sources into databases, spreadsheets, and CRM systems.
- Check data for completeness, accuracy, and consistency, detecting and resolving inconsistencies.
- Manage and categorize massive amounts of data, such as customer records, inventory details, and reports.
- Create basic reports and summaries using entered data to assist team members.
- Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information and follow data security measures.
- Work with team leaders to prioritize work and deadlines.
- Perform regular data backups and help with file organizing.
Required Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and data input applications; experience with Google Workspace or equivalent tools is advantageous.
- Excellent typing speed (minimum 50 WPM) with a great eye for detail and accuracy.
- Fundamental understanding of data privacy legislation (e.g., GDPR or CCPA) and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and vocal communication abilities for team interactions.
- The ability to work freely in a remote environment with a dependable internet connection and home office setup.
- A problem-solving attitude is required to effectively manage repetitious chores.
Education & Experience
- A high school diploma or equivalent is necessary, with an associate's degree in business administration, information technology, or a related subject preferable.
- At least one to two years of experience in data entry, administrative assistance, or a related job.
- Previous remote work experience is beneficial, but not required.
Annual salary ranges from $40,000 to $48,000, depending on experience and location in the United States. This is a salaried position with chances for performance bonuses.
