As a Dishwasher at El Atlakat, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our kitchen runs smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to maintain a safe and efficient workspace.
- Handling and organizing dishware, glassware, and utensils with care.
- Assisting with trash disposal, including lifting and emptying trashcans (with assistance as needed).
- Maintaining cleanliness in the dishwashing area and supporting the team with additional cleaning tasks.
- Adhering to all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe environment.
No prior experience? No problem! We’re happy to welcome individuals who are ready to learn and contribute. Here’s what we value in our team members:
- A strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- The ability to stay on your feet and work in a physically active role for the duration of your shift.
- Comfort with lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds frequently and occasionally handling heavier loads (with assistance).
- A positive attitude and willingness to work in a team-oriented environment.

This is a physically demanding role that requires frequent bending, stooping, lifting, and working in a hot and damp environment. You’ll occasionally work with sharp machinery, broken glass, and heat sources, so safety and awareness are key.
