Compensation Range: $90,000 – $110,000/year

Job Description

Join a fast-paced dev team supporting interactive, highly visible museum installations across the globe by building engaging front-end experiences in Svelte or React.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Develop front-end applications using Svelte or React
Transform design tickets into clean, efficient code
Build interactive HTML-based kiosks and UI features
Participate in Agile standups and Kanban process
Attend weekly client meetings
Conduct front-end testing (Cypress, unit, and automated tests)
Collaborate on Git workflows and contribute to clean, scalable codebases

Requirements

Must-Haves:
- 4 years of React experience OR significant Svelte project experience
- Samples of work: Portfolio, GitHub, etc.
- HTML, CSS, and JavaScript expertise
- Experience with RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with web animation frameworks (Motion, Anime.js, or CSS transitions)
- Strong Git collaboration skills
- Experience with front-end testing (Cypress preferred)
- Strong understanding of complex UI/UX beyond typical corporate websites
- Self-starter with a passion for code quality and strong attention to detail
- Must be comfortable being reviewed by peers, clients, and leadership
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with Figma
- Creative coding in museum/trade show or agency settings
- Docker familiarity
- Svelte expertise
- DMV area local
- Experience participating in or conducting code reviews
