Job Description

Salary: $45,760 - 45,760 per year Requirements:

  • Proven experience in IT support or help desk positions with in-depth knowledge of desktop support and computer management.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting software issues across various operating systems including Windows (and Windows Server), macOS, and Linux.
  • Familiarity with networking principles such as LAN/WAN, TCP/IP protocols, DNS configuration, VPN setup, firewall management (including Meraki), and TCP troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Active Directory administration, GPO deployment, and deployment tools like SCCM or similar.
  • Knowledge of network infrastructure components including switches, routers, and issue tracking systems like BMC Remedy or ServiceNow, as well as Jira.
  • Excellent communication skills to clearly convey technical information to non-technical users.
  • Strong analytical skills to swiftly assess complex issues and devise effective solutions.
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), or Cisco certifications are advantageous.
  • A customer-centric attitude combined with exemplary problem-solving abilities to ensure superior user support.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide IT support to end-users via phone, email, or remote access tools, resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Diagnose and fix software challenges pertaining to operating systems such as Windows and macOS.
  • Manage various computer hardware including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
  • Help troubleshoot software for applications, including Microsoft Office and other productivity tools.
  • Configure and assist with computer networking components such as LAN, TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, and Cisco Meraki devices.
  • Support Active Directory management tasks like user account creation, GPO implementation, and permission management.
  • Utilize IT service management tools like Autotask, Datto RMM, and RocketCyber for ticket tracking and resolving incidents.
  • Carry out system updates and manage deployments using SCCM or similar platforms.
  • Assist with IT infrastructure upkeep, notably in Windows Server environments and network administration tasks.
  • Document issues and solutions to enhance support processes.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify recurring issues and suggest improvements for stabilizing systems.
