About A-Quirity: A-Quirity, nestled in the heart of New Orleans, is a distinguished interior design company celebrated for our creativity and dedication to excellence. We're currently seeking friendly and energetic individuals to join our team as Hosts and Servers, providing exceptional service to guests in our showroom café.

Key Responsibilities:

Hosting:

• Greet guests warmly as they enter the café, providing a positive first impression.
• Manage the seating of guests, balancing seating arrangements to optimize server workload and guest satisfaction.
• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries about reservations and menu offerings.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the host area, including tidying up waiting areas and restocking supplies.

Serving:

• Provide attentive and personalized service to guests, guiding them through the menu and making recommendations as needed.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, entering orders into the POS system.
• Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
• Check in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
• Process payments and provide guests with receipts, thanking them for their visit and inviting them to return.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and outgoing personality.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Professional demeanor and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
