About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated Java Software Engineer to join our development team. You will work on designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable software applications using Java and related technologies. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals passionate about backend development and software engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java / J2EE technologies.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, QA engineers, and DevOps.

  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices.

  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

  • Debug and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.

  • Work with frameworks such as Spring / Spring Boot / Hibernate for application development.

  • Develop and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services.

  • Assist in database design and queries using SQL / MySQL / PostgreSQL .

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Software Engineering , or related field.

  • 0 3 years of professional experience in software development (internship or full-time).

  • Strong programming skills in Java (Core Java, Collections, OOP concepts).

  • Knowledge of Spring / Spring Boot , Hibernate / JPA , and RESTful APIs .

  • Experience with version control systems like Git or GitHub.

  • Understanding of Relational Databases (SQL) and basic query writing.

  • Familiarity with Agile / Scrum development methodologies.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
  • Experience with Microservices Architecture .

  • Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

  • Basic understanding of Docker / Kubernetes .

  • Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React/Angular).

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
