Job Overview

We are looking for a Laundry Attendant to operate the hotel’s laundry facility and to ensure there is an adequate supply of linen available to meet the demand of the hotel. The ideal candidate will be a flexible team player who wants to be the bright spot in each customer’s day. If you are hard-working, detail-oriented, and have some previous laundry or housekeeping experience, this is your opportunity to grow and become part of our team!

Responsibilities

• Manage the laundry facility.

Operate all necessary cleaning equipment and suppliers verify that there is an adequate supply of linen available to meet the demand of the hotel. Inspect linens to ensure that they are in acceptable condition to meet Marriott's standards and guest expectations.

Maintain equipment in good condition
Ensure that linen and other cleaning supplies are stored appropriately

Work Schedule:

· Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts

· Work requires standing for extended periods

Physical Requirements

Other Work Requirements:

• Standing and walking much of the time.
• Be able to reach, bend, and stoop.
• Ability to push/pull 75 pounds.
• Ability to climb stairs.
• Ability to work in the heat.
