With several years in the beverage industry, NOVA Tastings is revolutionizing off-premise
sampling. Born during the challenges of COVID-19, we've quickly grown into the largest local
off-premise sampling company in VA, DC, and Western MD—executing several events every
week and still expanding!

Now, with our recent expansion into VA ABC stores, we’re looking for a motivated
Sales Lead.

About the Role

This is a part time position 20-30 hours per week

As a Sales Lead, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting both Sales Management and Sales
Associates.. You will build relationships, drive sales, ensure our products stand out, and
conduct tastings at key retail locations. Your enthusiasm and knowledge will help to increase
brand awareness and drive sales.
● Shifts are primarily Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
● Territory to include: Virginia Beach, Norfolk, and Chesapeake.

**Responsibilities:**
● - Conduct 4- 5 hour tastings at various locations such as Grocery Stores, Total Wine,
and ABC Stores.
● - Engage with consumers in a friendly and approachable manner
● - Educate consumers about our products, including the history, flavor profiles, and
production process
● - Drive sales by promoting our brands and encouraging consumers to make a purchase
● - Collect and report feedback from consumers to improve future tastings and marketing
strategies
● Training new team members
● Ensuring team members are knowledgeable and prepared for their shifts
○ To include contact via: phone, text, or personal exchange
● Monitoring performance and retraining/mentoring as necessary
● Develop relationships with Kroger wine consultants
○ Determine best times for team members to be in stores
○ Determine and address any issues with team members
○ Determine location of sampling products and procedure for handing in
used/unused products
● Delivery of supplies
● Visiting with team members to promote education and morale.

**Requirements:**
- Must be 21 years or older
- Sales Experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge and passion for wine, beer, and cocktails
- Must have reliable transportation.
