  • Adapt therapy plans and interventions based on ongoing assessments and feedback from participants, families, and staff.

  • Provide guidance and education to staff and family members about the benefits of music therapy for participants with Alzheimer's, dementia, and other conditions.

Qualifications:

  • Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) with a valid license to practice in Massachusetts.
  • Experience working with seniors, particularly those with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, and other cognitive impairments preferred

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate individuals with varying levels of cognitive and physical ability.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care, with a genuine interest in improving the quality of life for seniors.

Schedule:

  • Open to fulltime or part time applicants with flexibility to accommodate program needs.

Compensation:

  • $500 sign on bonus for Full-Time Hire
  • Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience.

To Apply:

Please submit your resume and cover letter detailing your experience and interest in the position to mcaruso@germancentre.org. We look forward to welcoming a passionate Music Therapist to our team!
