Job Description: GDIT is seeking a
Navy Global Command and Control - Maritime (GCCS-M) (Electronic Tech to help support the
MARMC program in
Norfolk, Virginia. This is an onsite position, and no relocation assistance is provided Must be a US Citizen Job Description: - Performs highly complex technical functions in support of engineering activities such as set up, operation, maintenance, modification, circuit testing, calibration and troubleshooting of electronic or electro-mechanical components and systems, experimental design circuitry, prototype models or specialized test equipment
- Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal instructions
- Directs complex engineering tests to collect design data or assist in general research work
- Diagnoses and isolates equipment and system malfunctions which fail to respond to standard corrective measures, and makes necessary repairs
- Participates in the development of electronic equipment
- Repairs or modifies cables and equipment returned by operational users or by personnel in the associated test and development laboratories
- Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced technicians, and may have supervisory responsibilities
- May serve as a team leader
- Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned
- Candidate must have a minimum of four (4) years specific experience gained in troubleshooting, repair, and assessment of at least one of the following systems:
- 1. AN/USQ-187 GCCS-M 4.1.1
2. AN/USQ-172 GCCS-M 4.0
- While not required, the more experience gained on these systems may be more advantageous to the government.

2. AN/USQ-152 TBMCS

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $29.84 - $40.38. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
