Salary: $90,000 - 110,000 per year Requirements:

• We require candidates to hold a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field along with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or at least 7 years of experience demonstrating strong performance in a technical work setting. Applicants must have at least 3 years of experience in LAN/WAN design, along with 2 years in a professional services organization, OEM, VAR, or as an independent consultant within the IT technical services sector. A broad understanding of technologies such as core networking (LAN, WAN, SD-WAN), wireless networking, and network security is essential. Additionally, candidates should possess a solid knowledge of IT products and services. Experience with SD-WAN design and implementation/migration using Silver Peak, Aruba, Cisco, or Meraki is highly desirable, as is firewall design and implementation experience. The ability to learn new technologies, methodologies, and processes quickly is crucial. CCNA and CCNP certifications are preferred, and candidates should be willing to travel 30-50% of the year.

• As an Enterprise Network Engineer, I will consult with clients and partners to design and implement both physical and logical networks. I will effectively communicate network technologies (such as STP, BPDU, VLANs, OSPF, BGP, WAN, SD-WAN) to both clients and my team members. My role involves configuring various vendor hardware platforms based on design specifications including HPE/Aruba, Cisco, Meraki, Brocade, Extreme, and Silver Peak. I will execute project scope requirements ranging from designing and staging to implementing, testing, and documenting the comprehensive solutions. I will supervise internal and external resources to accurately identify technical requirements, conduct effective L2/L3 testing, and independently learn new technologies to demonstrate to the team. Mentorship and support of my colleagues will also be part of my role, as ensuring that our project deliveries and documentation consistently meet the highest standards of customer satisfaction is paramount. Additionally, I will maintain and update customer information in our SharePoint system and record project-based time into our CRM tool. Familiarity with Python scripting would be an added advantage.
