Job Summary: As a Night Auditor at [Hotel Name], you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during the overnight shift. You will be responsible for the daily financial reconciliation, guest service, and maintaining the safety and security of the hotel environment. The ideal candidate possesses strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reconciliation:
- Perform night audit duties, including balancing the day’s financial transactions and ensuring accuracy in accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash handling.
- Prepare daily financial reports, highlighting key performance indicators and discrepancies for management review.
- Process end-of-day procedures and close daily financial systems.

2. Guest Services:
- Greet and check in late-arriving guests, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
- Address guest inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and efficiently.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.

3.Safety and Security:
- Monitor hotel premises to ensure the safety and security of guests and staff during the night.
- Respond to emergencies and coordinate with local authorities as needed.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property and report maintenance and safety issues to the management.

4.Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain the front desk area, ensuring it is organized and presentable at all times.
- Assist with off-peak administrative duties as assigned, such as filing, data entry, and inventory management.

5.Customer Relationship Management:
- Build rapport with guests to encourage repeat business and convey a sense of personalized service.
- Capture guest feedback and assist in resolving any issues to enhance guest satisfaction.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree in hospitality or business preferred.
- Previous experience in hotel front desk or night audit role is highly desirable.
- Proficient in basic accounting principles and financial software; experience with hotel management software (e.g., Opera, lightspeed FIDELIO) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that require physical stamina, such as lifting and moving items up to 25 pounds.
