Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) - Travel Position Location: Salida, CO Job Type: Travel Contract Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 4x10s Nights Pay: $2753/week Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to provide perioperative care and support safe, efficient surgical procedures. The OR RN will be responsible for preparing patients, maintaining sterile fields, assisting surgeons, and ensuring patient safety throughout the surgical process. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and committed to delivering excellent patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment. Key Responsibilities: * Provide direct perioperative nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures. * Prepare operating rooms, equipment, and instruments to ensure readiness. * Maintain sterile technique and support infection prevention standards. * Assist surgeons and surgical teams during procedures. * Monitor patients’ vital signs and responses during surgery. * Document care provided in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards. * Educate patients and families on pre- and post-operative care as needed.
