Job Description

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

$2,000 - $4,000 Quarterly Bonuses

Note: This position requires employees to be on-site five days a week at the World Trade Center office in New York, NY.

Note: The qualified candidate for this position must have at least 2+ years of paralegal experience, ideally in employment discrimination or civil litigation.

Job Description

Provide litigation support in employment discrimination, workplace harassment, wrongful termination, and civil rights cases
Draft, proofread, and file pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement documents
Conduct legal and factual research using databases such as Lexis, Westlaw, and PACER
Assist attorneys with case preparation, including depositions, mediations, and trial prep
Manage client communication, intake, and ongoing case updates
Organize and maintain both electronic and physical case files
Handle docketing, scheduling, and case management tasks
Support attorneys in high-profile federal court litigation

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate
Minimum 2+ years of experience as a paralegal (employment law or civil litigation strongly preferred)
Strong research, writing, and organizational skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and legal case management software
Ability to manage deadlines and juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Spanish bilingual skills a plus but not required
