The Product Owner's purpose is to maximize the value of the product and the work of the delivery team. As a Product Owner in the Capital Markets Solutions team, you represent the voice of internal clients regarding their business needs. You will support the fixed income group in its rapid expansion, helping to modernize and transform our technology solutions and business processes.

As a Product Owner, you represent the voice of the customer in projects and are responsible for the member and client experience. You assemble a range of products and services into a coherent process to generate a positive experience for members and clients. You work closely with the project sponsor and the Business Analyst to ensure the solution meets user needs and that expected project benefits are achieved. You manage relationships with various project stakeholders, and your ability to foster engagement becomes essential.

You assume a leadership and influence role with specialists within squads and with other stakeholders on files and projects involving planning, feasibility studies, development, and complex, cross-functional, and innovative strategic initiatives. You contribute to developing and recommending strategic orientations and business positioning.

You provide recommendations related to developing and executing files or projects of very high operational and conceptual complexity, with major impact on business sector orientations. These require deep understanding of the domain, business context, and numerous interdependencies. You interact with a wide range of stakeholders across various fields of expertise.

You act as a consultant and subject-matter expert, serving as a key resource and coach for senior management.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Define scope and guide development of product specifications (e.g., epics, stories)

  • Set priorities to maximize business value delivered

  • Analyze information, propose recommendations, and prepare decision documents

  • Ensure each solution component aligns with business needs

  • Ensure clarity, transparency, and communication of product progress to all stakeholders

  • Improve operational methods and guide the delivery squad

  • Diagnose issues, challenges, and needs within the squad to achieve targeted results

  • Perform regular monitoring of the business domain and digital trends

What You Will Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline

  • 8 years of experience with the Murex product (MANDATORY)

  • Minimum six years of relevant professional experience

  • Bilingual

  • Other combinations of education and experience may be considered

  • Experience as a Product Owner

  • Knowledge of French required

  • Proficiency with Jira and Confluence

  • Knowledge of corporate financing and risk management
