This Registered Nurse Educator position focuses on providing training to OR circulating staff on cesarean sections within a Family Birthplace setting. The role requires a strong clinical background in labor and delivery and proven teaching skills. Three years of experience is preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver training programs for OR circulating nurses on cesarean section procedures.
- Provide hands-on instruction and guidance during simulated and real-life scenarios.
- Assess the competency of trainees and provide feedback for improvement.
- Maintain updated training materials and resources.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure consistent and high-quality patient care.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices.
- May include some direct patient care responsibilities related to labor and delivery.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of two years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital setting (three years preferred).
- Experience in Labor & Delivery and Operating Room preferred.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teaching skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- BLS certification.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Previous experience as a perinatal educator or trainer.
- Advanced certifications in labor and delivery or operating room nursing.

- The position is based in a Family Birthplace setting within a hospital.
- The work schedule is 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
