Role: S/4 HANA Fiori Architect

Location: Onsite - Washington DC

Job Description:

• Design & Architecture: Define Fiori app architecture, roadmap from ECC to S/4HANA, and translate business needs into technical designs for new and existing apps.
• Development: Develop custom Fiori apps (Freestyle, Elements), extensions, and enhancements using SAPUI5, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, focusing on clean code and best practices.
• Backend Integration: Build and consume OData services, work with CDS views, ABAP RAP, and Gateway services for data provisioning.
• Performance & Security: Optimize app performance, ensure responsive design, and implement robust security/authorization setups.
• Fiori Launchpad: Configure Fiori Launchpad, roles, catalogs, and target mappings for seamless user access.
• Collaboration: Work closely with functional consultants, business users, and technical teams for requirement gathering, analysis, and UAT support.
• Maintenance & Support: Troubleshoot issues, maintain code, and support deployment processes.
• Innovation: Stay updated on latest Fiori/BTP innovations (like Build Work Zone) and promote knowledge sharing

Required Skills:

• Frontend: SAPUI5, OpenUI5, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, Fiori Design Guidelines, Fiori Elements, UI5 Theme Designer.
• Backend/Integration: OData Services, ABAP RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model), CDS Views, SAP Gateway.
• SAP Platform: SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform), Fiori Launchpad.
• Tools: Eclipse, VS Code, WebIDE, Git, SAP Fiori Tools, ADT.
• Methodologies: Agile/Scrum, DevOps (CI/CD).
• Architecture: Strong understanding of Fiori architecture, extensibility concepts, performance tuning
• Architect Role - 10+ years with Fiori experience in end-to-end implementations.

Certifications: SAP Fiori certification is must
