Surgical Assistant – Periodontal Care | Olathe, KS

• Has strong surgical assisting experience (periodontal or specialty preferred)

You’ll have the opportunity to work alongside Drs. Trey Holt and Garrett Finney in a respected periodontal specialty setting.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist the doctor during surgical procedures, including extractions, implant placements, and other complex treatments
• Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and maintaining strict aseptic technique
• Take and develop X-rays and other diagnostic imaging as needed
• Manage patient records in the EMR system while maintaining HIPAA compliance
• Monitor vital signs and ensure patient comfort throughout procedures
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and procedure coding
• Perform chairside duties, including material preparation and instrument handling
• Educate patients on post-operative care and answer procedure-related questions
• Support infection control protocols to prevent cross-contamination
• Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional patient care

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 39 per week
