Description We have an upcoming contract employment opportunity for a Tax Preparer located in Baltimore, Maryland. As a Tax Preparer, you will be tasked with the responsibility of managing a tax program, preparing individual tax returns, maintaining tax files and ensuring compliance. Responsibilities: - Manage the operations of a tax program which includes intake, preparation, quality review and filing of tax returns - Ensure accuracy and proper filing of tax returns. - Prepare individual tax returns for clients. - Maintain and manage electronic filing of tax returns - Ensure compliance with IRS quality procedures and guidelines Requirements - Experience in tax preparation. - Familiarity with tax preparation software and procedures, including E1040 and electronic filing - Proficient in preparing individual tax returns - Capable of accurately preparing income tax returns - Knowledge of tax preparer responsibilities and tasks - Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high levels of accuracy - Excellent organizational and time-management skills - Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines - Strong communication and interpersonal skills Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
