Transcriptionist to help us turn our audio and video content into precise, readable text. Whether it’s transcribing internal team meetings, client calls, or technical discussions, your work will play a vital role in ensuring that everyone stays on the same page. If you’re a person who enjoys a mix of technology, sustainability, and writing, this could be a perfect fit!
What You’ll Be Doing - Transcribing Meetings & Presentations: You’ll listen to recordings and turn them into accurate, clear transcriptions. This might include everything from project discussions to sustainability strategies.
- Handling Technical Terms: Since we’re all about renewable energy, you’ll get to work with some cool (and sometimes complex) terms related to solar, wind, and other green technologies. Don't worry—we'll help you get familiar with any technical language.
- Editing & Proofreading: Once the transcription is done, you’ll tidy it up, check for typos, grammar issues, and make sure everything is crystal clear.
- Collaborating with Teams: You’ll work closely with various departments to make sure the transcriptions meet everyone’s needs and are delivered on time.
- Staying Organized: Whether it’s meeting notes or product development discussions, you’ll keep everything neatly stored and easy to find for future reference.
What We’re Looking For - Experience: You don’t need to be a transcription pro, but any experience in transcription or writing (especially technical content) is a bonus! Familiarity with renewable energy is a plus, but we’ll train you on the jargon.
- Typing Skills: You should be a speedy typist (60+ WPM), with an eye for detail to make sure everything is accurate.
- Accuracy: We’re looking for someone who prides themselves on getting the details right—your work will help drive key decisions, so accuracy is a must.
- Communication: Good written communication is essential. You’ll need to take spoken words and turn them into text that’s easy to read.
- Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with transcription tools like Otter.ai or Rev.com is great, but if you haven’t used them before, we’re happy to train you.
- Time Management: You’ll need to balance multiple tasks, so being organized and meeting deadlines is key.
