Job Title: Associate, Alternatives Investment Management

Location: 1 Lafayette Place, 3rd Floor, Greenwich, CT 06830

Job Duties: Conduct financial modeling, due diligence, execution, and monitoring of existing portfolio companies. Develop, utilize, and analyze financial models to evaluate investment opportunities. Work with the team to assess and execute new investments: conduct due diligence, financial review, and prepare presentation materials for investment committee. Perform market research, including research on potential investments, industries, competitors. Assist in the monitoring of portfolio companies including analysis of corporate development, add-on, financing opportunities, analyzing budgets, interacting with key members of management, and positioning business to be prepared for exit.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Business, Political Science, or a related field; and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Requires 2 years of experience involving each of the following: 1. Investment banking, principal private equity or infrastructure investing; 2. Energy and infrastructure knowledge, background and experience; 3. Proficiency with LBO, NPV, and DCF modeling (both developing and utilizing existing models) to evaluate investment opportunities and monitor / optimize existing investments; 4. Assisting in the monitoring of portfolio companies including analysis of corporate development, add-on, and financing opportunities. 5. Use Excel to analyze budgets, interacting with key members of management, positioning businesses to be prepared for exit, and assisting with sales of portfolio companies.

Salary Range: $158,000 - 180,000

Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits.
