Job Description

Beverage Server FT Location Friant, CA : Description: Obtain guest orders, deliver food and drinks or merchandise to guests while serving guests in an efficient and pleasant manner. Accurately execute guest transactions entering orders, tabulating bills, and receiving guest payment. Provide prompt, courteous guest service at all times following the Casino's guest service standards. Position Type: Full Time Responsibilities:
Serve Casino guests in a pleasant and efficient manner while maintaining excellent service.
Responsible for setting up and maintaining food server stations, beverage server stations and preparing/delivering food, and drinks to the guests.
Prepare and display all food and merchandise in accordance ServSafe and other regulatory standards.
Responsible for preparing all food and or beverage items in accordance with prep sheets and standard recipes.
Prepare food based on business volumes and as directed and indicated by Supervisors using par levels.
Be knowledgeable for full utilization of Point of Sale (POS) system.
Responsible for cash-handling practices adherent to Casino-wide, Food and Beverage Policies and Procedures.
Counting cash, separating charge slips, and preparing bank deposits.
Ensure payment is made after taking food order.
Maintain a clean and sanitary work area at all times. Maintain and clean the food and display equipment.
Ensure all display cases, refrigerators, guest seating areas and the Casino floor are cleaned and maintained during shift.
Clean and dust shelves, between slot machines, counter tops and any other food and beverage related areas as assigned.
Maintain an organized work area for convenient guest interaction and safety.
Properly package and label any food purchases for our guests as needed.
Assist Busser and Food & Beverage Porters as needed/assigned to maximize guest service.
Maintain knowledge and answer guest questions regarding all food venues, beverage service, and Casino related information.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent is required, unless otherwise waived by Human Resources Management.
Six (6) months of work experience required. Food and Beverage experience and cash handling experience preferred.
Must be able to work Nights, Weekends and Holidays
