Job Description

Christian Formation Administrative Assistant

Conduct registration of religious education classes and maintaining the tuition receipts
Order supplies for Christian Formation departments
Prepare classroom and teacher materials and events
Create and assist with communications (electronic and paper forms)
Create and assemble booklets, posters, flyers, displays as necessary
Clerical support for Sacramental needs
Backup for receptionist duties
Maintain the Christian Formation database
Assists in the preparation of the Parish bulletin
Other duties as assigned by the Pastor

Qualifications

Minimum Education

High School diploma or equivalent required.

Minimum Experience/Training Required

Practicing Catholic in good standing and able to partake fully in the sacramental life of the Church
Intermediate computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite, Publisher, Parish Data Systems and Parish App
Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision and willing to learn new tasks and skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent writing/editing and verbal communication skills
