Clinical Dental Hygienist
Location: Alpharetta, GA
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Clinical Dental Hygienist who thrives in a fast-paced dental office environment. This role involves delivering clinical care, maintaining infection control standards, and educating patients on oral disease prevention.
Responsibilities:
- Perform scaling, polishing, and periodontal maintenance procedures
- Apply sealants and desensitizing agents as needed
- Take impressions and digital scans for preventive treatments
- Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene practices
- Monitor and update patient charts and digital records
- Assist with sterilization and operatory setup
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and safety regulations
- Help with office duties such as scheduling and inventory when required
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of clinical hygiene experience
- Strong clinical and interpersonal communication skills
- Tech-savvy with digital x-ray and charting software
- GBT familiarity a strong plus
Education & Certifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program
- Current Georgia Dental Hygiene License
- Valid CPR certification
