A Private NON CORPORATE office is looking for a Full Time Dental Hygienist.

Great Family Friendly Hours. We work 7-4 on Mon & Wed, 7-2 on Tues & Thurs 7-12 on Fri. So you can get home to your family or just to have a good night

Biltmore Commons is currently hiring for our Dental Hygiene team. Our wonderful Dental Hygiene team consists of five caring professionals who love to work together.

We are looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our growing team! You’ll complete initial patient screenings, conduct dental cleanings, and assist dentists with examinations. This dental hygienist should have incredible customer service skills and a passion for providing excellent dental services. Dental Hygienist Benefits:

Biltmore Commons measures progress so we can monitor goal achievement and growth. Compensation is often tied to the success in achieving those goals

• We offer a competitive hourly guarantee plus exciting bonus based on production. Typical compensation averages between $52-$60 an hour.
• We offer 6 days PTO/holiday, dental 
• 1 week equivalent vacation after 1 year employed and 2 week equivalent after 3 years employment
• Full time is available which includes a 1/2 day on Friday

Dental Hygienist Duties & Responsibilities:

• Cleaning accretions, calcareous deposits, and stains of teeth and beneath gum borders with dental equipment

• Touching lymph nodes under patients’ chins for soreness or swelling so doctors can look for signs of mouth cancer

• Making a note of and evaluating the patient’s medical history 

• Recording dental decay and disease for dentists to diagnose and treat them

• Sharpening and sterilizing dental instruments 

• Working to improve patient oral health and promoting preventative dental treatment

• Collaborating with dentist for treatment

• Maintaining a patient dental hygiene regimen

Dental Hygienist Requirements:

• An associate’s degree in hygiene from a recognized institution is required

• Hygiene license issued by the state.

• CPR certification is current

• Hepatitis B immunization is current

• Must be able to give local anesthetics and use an x-ray machine

• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal)

• Must be well-versed in oral hygiene and dental health topics
