We are currently hiring heavy equipment operators for our pharmaceutical project in Wilson, NC. Per Diem available for qualified candidates.

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating various types of heavy machinery on construction sites. This role requires a commitment to safety, efficiency, and teamwork while performing tasks that are essential to the successful completion of construction projects.

Duties

• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, mini-ex, skid steer and loader to facilitate construction activities.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
• Safely transport materials using dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and front loader trucks.
• Collaborate with team members to execute project plans effectively and efficiently.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery on construction sites.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of construction sites as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance activities.

Skills

• Proven experience in heavy equipment operation with a focus on construction machinery.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on equipment.
• Commercial driving experience is preferred, with valid licenses for operating specific vehicles such as tankers or farm machinery.
• Familiarity with concrete mixers and the ability to operate them effectively.
• Experience with Caterpillar machinery is a plus.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
