Job Description

Paradigm is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Entry-Level Help Desk Technician to join our IT support team. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for technology and a desire to help others solve technical issues. You will be the first point of contact for end users seeking technical assistance, providing support via phone, email, or in person. Type: 6 Month Contract Location:  Portland, OR | Onsite Benefits:  Paradigm offers medical, dental, vision, life, 401K, PTO, and sick days. As a Help Desk Technician you will: Respond to user inquiries and provide technical assistance and support for hardware, software, and network-related issues. Log and track support requests using a ticketing system. Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical problems or escalate complex issues to higher-level support. Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals. Provide support for Microsoft Office applications, email systems, and common business software. Follow up with users to ensure issues are resolved and provide excellent customer service. Maintain documentation of issues and solutions for future reference. Requirements Our skills and experience wish list includes: High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or technical certification in IT preferred. Basic understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products. Familiarity with Windows and/or macOS operating systems. Troubleshooting skills Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced IT environment.
