IESC is seeking consultants for the Skills for Better Jobs (C1.2) programme that aims to foster a mindset of service delivery among training institutions, with a focus on employers as ultimate clients, and better jobs for their trainees as ultimate outcomes, through providing demand-responsive and better-quality training. This position is contingent upon IESC winning the award. Candidates should be available to join the programme expected in September 2025. We will consider applications on a rolling basis and encourage early submissions.
Industry-TVET Partnership Specialist (Cambodian)
Roles and Responsibilities
· Support the Team Leader in selection of training institutions (TIs) and the relevant industry partners
· Act as primary liaison with TIs and other Cambodian training and service providers including relevant government ministries (MLVT), sector skills councils (SSCs), and other education and training provides both public and private.
· Execute successful Industry-linkage development plans (ILDPs) with each of the selected training institutions;
· Manage relationships with Cambodian businesses participating in the ILDPs;
· Coordinate with Government of Cambodia representatives at regional and local levels.
Minimum Qualifications
· Graduate degree (MSc.MA/MBA) in economics, business administration, finance or relevant fields or a track record of holding positions requiring a graduate-degree level of knowledge and competencies;
· At least 8 years of proven working experience in supporting TVET and Training, in particular engaging employers and industry partners, at least 5 years of relevant national experience; and
· Excellent project and people management skills, including demonstrated cultural competency to manage diverse teams and engage stakeholders, and program participants, including adapting instructional design and delivery to learners of varying backgrounds, proficiency and needs.
