State Fund's Subrogation Unit has an opening for Legal Analyst.  Under the general direction of a licensed attorney, the Subrogation Legal Analyst independently performs a broad range of litigation support and case management tasks for the Subrogation Legal Attorney.   The Subrogation Legal Analyst is the most experienced paralegal, providing high level assistance to attorneys, regularly and independently performing the full range of the most responsible, varied and complex analytical paralegal duties, and communicating with management and other internal and external stakeholders.

The Subrogation Legal Analyst will work under the supervision of the Assistant Chief Counsel and will need to establish and maintain effective working relationships with State Fund’s attorneys, managers, employees, representatives, experts, and policyholders (as assignments require), and other business partners and stakeholders.

• The position(s) require(s) a Background Investigation be cleared prior to being hired.

• Communicates with court staff and administrative body personnel as needed for matter management

• Under direction of an attorney, independently conducts walk-through appearances and negotiations in Civil

Court and at the Workers Comp Appeals Board.
