Quality Manager | Wyoming, MI

Salary Range: $95,000 - $142,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS).
• Ensure products and processes comply with industry standards, regulations, and customer specifications.
• Lead internal and external quality audits, managing non-conformances and corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of quality throughout the organization.
• Manage root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions for quality issues.
• Oversee supplier quality management and monitor incoming material quality.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the quality assurance team.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in quality management roles within a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
• Proven expertise in developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Strong knowledge and practical application of quality tools and methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA, 8D).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
• Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
• Experience integrating quality processes with ERP/MES systems
• Certified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001 or relevant industry standard (e.g., IATF 16949, AS9100)
