Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Adult Inpatient Behavioral Health
Location: New York, NY
Pay Range: $61–$69/hour
Adult inpatient behavioral health unit seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN)
Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a structured inpatient psychiatric setting
Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary behavioral health team
Provide direct nursing care to adults in an inpatient behavioral health environment
Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
Maintain compliance with facility policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards
Minimum 2 years of behavioral health nursing experience
Strong clinical judgment and patient assessment skills
Effective communication, de-escalation, and teamwork abilities
Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited program
Active New York State RN license
Primary Source Verification of license and registration through NYSED
BLS certification (American Heart Association)
