Job Description

  • Teach training curriculum to new hires and analysts requiring refresher training
  • Work with other laboratory trainers to maintain training calendars for each trainee to show progress and support Group Leader as the analyst enters production
  • Track trainees technical progress toward independent laboratory work in support of the Group Leader
  • Liase with ELLI training center to prepare materials in the department in expectation of new hire arrival
  • Demonstrates ability to work on multiple projects at one time
  • Demonstrates ability to teach trainees as part of a team or in an independent setting
  • Connect and facilitate meetings between trainees and department or division experts for introduction to ELLI systems (i.e. ELN, eLIMS etc…)
  • Update training curriculum to adapt to changes in ELLI systems
  • Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
  • Applies the highest quality standard in all areas of responsibility
  • Demonstrates and promotes the company vision
  • Demonstrates strong client service skills, teamwork, and collaboration
  • Proactively plans and multitasks to maximize productivity
  • Meets all quality and productivity metrics and demonstrates strong teamwork and collaboration
  • Regular attendance and punctuality
  • Participate in training curriculum development and application
  • Communicates effectively with client staff members
  • Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • At least an Associates Degree in the sciences or a teaching degree with experience in managing or teaching people
    • Bachelor's Degree is preferred
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Well organized and good attention to detail
  • Familiarity with common computer programs and e-learning
  • Excellent people skills
  • Ability to teach both paper based curriculum and present information electronically in both a one-on-one setting and group setting
  • Authorization to work in the country indefinitely without sponsorship 

Additional Information



Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster, Pennsylvania are encouraged to apply.
