About the Role As a Sales Manager, you'll drive revenue by building relationships with corporate, group, and local business accounts. This role combines inside and outside sales, creativity, and strategic thinking to position our hotel as the top choice for travelers to Indianapolis. What You’ll Do
  • Identify and secure new business in corporate, government, and group markets
  • Manage existing accounts and cultivate repeat business
  • Lead tours and present the hotel’s offerings to prospective clients
  • Respond to RFPs, inquiries, and leads using phone, email, and CRM systems (e.g., Delphi, SalesPro)
  • Negotiate contracts and rate agreements to support revenue goals
  • Represent the hotel at trade shows, networking events, and Chamber functions
  • Collaborate with the GM and Revenue Management to adjust pricing and availability
  • Track and report performance metrics and activities
  • Coordinate with operations to ensure group success and guest satisfaction
  • Meet or exceed monthly/annual sales goals
What We’re Looking For
  • 2+ years of hotel sales or hospitality experience (limited service preferred; Hilton a plus)
  • Familiarity with Indianapolis corporate and travel markets
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Microsoft Office proficiency; Hilton systems (OnQ, Delphi, R&I) experience is a plus
  • Organized, independent, and deadline-driven
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local travel
