Job Description

Salary: $103,450 - 197,730 per year Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a Business or Science field is mandatory; alternatively, 4 years of relevant experience in data and analytics or technical roles can substitute for the degree.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in information management practices, business application functions, or data delivery is needed. Alternatively, if you have an advanced degree in a Business or Science field, you need 2 years of experience in relevant functions.
  • Fundamental working experience in data management practices and theories, along with familiarity with tools for addressing data management risks and concerns.
  • Proficiency in SQL, including intermediate working knowledge of SQL-based languages.
  • Ability to build business acumen through effective collaborations at both individual contributor and leadership levels.
  • Proven skill in identifying and rectifying data discrepancies and conducting root cause analyses.
  • Strong interpersonal skills capable of delivering presentations to management at all levels.
Responsibilities:
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for process enhancements across all Information Management and Analytics responsibilities.
  • Engage in and potentially lead discussions with cross-functional teams to enhance the consistency and efficiency of information management.
  • Contribute to developing standard processes and tools aligned with business requirements.
  • Maintain Information Asset Inventories and ensure proper classification of data and assets.
  • Assist in the delivery of information adhering to Information Governance standards and data management practices, emphasizing thorough documentation and teamwork.
  • Keep the metadata repository updated with accurate metadata associations.
  • Review, validate, and document metadata and data quality information.
  • Develop enhancements aimed at reducing data quality risks, which includes creating data quality plans, implementing checks, overseeing results, and producing reports and dashboards as necessary.
  • Document and revise corrective action plans related to data quality.
  • Aid in the compliance assessment process by documenting failures from data quality assessments and recommending Master and Reference Data processes that align with enterprise policies.
  • Craft and manage reference data in accordance with established processes and procedures.
  • Improve implementation processes and drive initiatives to reduce data quality risks.
  • Support Privacy initiatives by classifying, tagging, and analyzing critical data to ensure compliance and remediation in line with defined policies and processes.
  • Ensure business risk factors are optimally identified, assessed, monitored, and controlled according to risk and compliance policies.

We offer a flexible work environment, requiring attendance in the office four days a week, with the preferred location being Plano, Texas. However, employment may also be available in other locations such as San Antonio, TX; Phoenix, AZ; Colorado Springs, CO; Charlotte, NC; Chesapeake, VA; or Tampa, FL.
