Position Title: Respiratory Therapist

Shift: Days (12 hours, 3 shifts/week)
Duration: 13-Week Assignment
Hourly Pay: $51–$56/hr
Weekly Pay: $1,836–$2,016/week
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Respiratory Therapist for an exciting Travel or Local job in Hyannis, MA.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and identify acute and chronic cardiopulmonary dysfunction
Initiate and manage ventilatory support, including setting adjustments and weaning
Perform diagnostic procedures such as ABG draws, sputum collection, spirometry, and capnography
Administer therapeutic gases and maintain non-invasive ventilation and aerosolized medication therapy
Perform airway management including suctioning, tracheostomy care, and assistance with intubations
Monitor patients during hospital and inter-facility transports
Assist in procedures such as bronchoscopies, conscious sedations, and code/RRT responses
Accurately document all assessments, procedures, and treatments in the EMR
Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and collaborate with the healthcare team
Precept, train, and orient new staff, students, and other departments as assigned
Maintain equipment, supplies, and work areas
Qualifications:
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential
Current Massachusetts Respiratory Therapy license
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
Minimum one (1) year of critical care experience preferred
