What You’ll Do:

• Build scalable test automation processes to maximize creativity, collaboration & efficiency
• Build, manage, maintain, and monitor the automated testing suite
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand the requirements and turn them into test plans
• Interpret and report test results, and be a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process
• Document, and track resolutions for software defects identified in the testing process using approved tools and processes
• Attend standup meetings, test plans, and business requirements walkthroughs
• Lead code reviews as well as drive architecture and technical design discussions
• Mentor and coach junior engineers, looking for growth opportunities and leading by example

What You Have:

• Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science or related discipline
• 3+ years of experience in testing web-based or SaaS applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical thinking skills.
• Experience in the software development lifecycle, focusing on software quality
• Highly motivated, resilient, and a tenacious passion for winning
• Strong hand-on experience in TypeScript
• Strong hands-on experience with Cypress.io e2e & component testing
• Strong experience in REST API testing using tools such as Postman, or equivalent
• Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools such as Github Actions, or equivalent.
• Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber is highly preferred
• Experience with a SaaS fintech startup
• [ Preferred ] Mortgage capital markets experience highly

• Recruiting Screen - 30 minute 1:1 with a Polly Talent Team Member
• Initial Team Round - 30 minute 1:1 with Polly’s Director, QA
• Assessment - Live Assessment
• Post Assessment Rounds [3]- 30 to 45 minute Peer, Cross Functional Team Members, and Executive Rounds
