Position Overview Global Guardian's Asset Security Division is seeking an enthusiastic individual for the Security Operations Center Operator role to join our fast-paced Charlotte, NC office.
The Security Operations Center Operator will cross train in Video monitoring, Intrusion detection, FA, and Asset Tracking.
We are looking for a team member who is extremely efficient and wants to grow with us. This is an entry-level position.
Job Responsibilities - Respond to events and alarms for Video Monitoring, Intrusion detection, FA, and Asset Tracking
- Dispatch local authorities when necessary
- Able to handle life-saving situations utilizing event driven Artificial Intelligence
- Conduct site guard tours and immediate response to panic alarms
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of, and adherence to, site protocols
- Maintain accurate records of all incidents and prepare incident reports for any events
Experience / Requirements - 1-3 years' experience in the security industry preferred
- Military and / or security background preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and a strong work ethic
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other corporate team members and operational team members
Position Type and Schedule
- Full-Time (FT), hourly non-exempt position
- Pay Range: $18 - $21 an hour
- Hiring for 2nd shift (middle) and 3rd shift (night) - open availability needed
