NextEra Energy is seeking a Senior User Experience (UX) Web Designer who will play a crucial role in creating exceptional user experiences for internal enterprise applications in support of Nuclear Business Unit. This position involves collaborating cross-functionally with various stakeholders, UX team members, and ensuring design quality and consistency across projects. **Overview** This job is responsible for creating exceptional user experiences for nuclear business unit specific applications. The Senior User Experience Web Designer works cross-functionally and collaboratively to design the graphical user interface and experience for applications and websites, guiding developers through fulfilling the design experience. **Job Duties and Responsibilities** + Collaborate with other User Experience Designers to ensure design consistency across multiple concurrently developed applications. + Conduct user research, including interviews and surveys, and synthesize findings into actionable insights. + Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that address user needs and business objectives. + Collaborate with product management, developers, and other stakeholders to define and implement innovative design solutions. + Document detailed user stories/requirements and coordinate cross-functional meetings. + Guide developers to modify HTML, CSS, and JavaScript concepts to ensure alignment with designed experiences. + Conduct usability testing and iterate designs based on user feedback and analytics. + Contribute to presentations and report design progress to the Agile Delivery Manager. **Preferred Qualifications** + Proficiency in UX design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar. + Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles. + Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and advocate for the user. + Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing. + Experience in the energy or utility sector. + Familiarity with Design Thinking and Agile development processes. + Certification in UX design or related disciplines. + Process Improvements Six Sigma Certifications a plus. **Job Overview** This job is responsible for creating great user experiences on the web and other digital channels.
