Overview:
The Lockwood Group is currently pending award on a contract providing tactical network support to the Project Manager Network Modernization program (PdM NetMod). We are seeking a Systems Engineer to provide oversight on the design, development, and integration of IT and network systems within the PdM NetMod program. This role ensures system reliability, scalability, and security in support of Army modernization efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement system architecture to support network modernization initiatives.
- Perform system analysis, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to define system requirements and integration strategies.
- Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity and system engineering best practices.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience with DoD IT systems, network architecture, and cloud technologies.
- Knowledge of RMF, NIST, and DoD cybersecurity policies.
- Security+ or CISSP certification preferred.
- Active DoD Secret or higher clearance required.
