Wells Family Counseling is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our team. As a member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for providing therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and/or groups.
Practice Profile:
Wells Family Counseling was incorporated in 2018 and has been serving individuals and families in northwest Indiana. The practice has experienced steady growth since its opening and has developed an especially strong reputation across our service area for our work with children and adolescents. Our team has a diverse, complementary range of specializations, including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, trauma-informed care, grief, and play therapy. We are looking for additional team members to meet our growing demand for services.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health and formulate treatment plans.
2. Provide individual, couples, and/or group therapy sessions, both in-person and via telehealth (depending on client and therapist preferences).
3. Provide evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help clients manage their symptoms
4. Maintain accurate and confidential client records, ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and ethical standards.
5. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
6. Engage in ongoing professional development and attend relevant training sessions.
7. Participate in clinical supervision to enhance therapeutic skills (for associate-licensed therapists).
8. Adhere to ethical guidelines and standards in the provision of mental health services.
Qualifications:
1. Master's degree in social work, mental health counseling, psychology, or a related field.
2. At least provisional licensure in the state of Indiana (LMHC-A or equivalent).
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
4. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
5. Willingness to engage in clinical supervision and continuous learning.
6. Adherence to ethical and legal standards in the field of psychotherapy.
7. Proficiency in using the ICD-10 and ICD-9 coding systems for diagnosis and billing purposes
Pay : Negotiable, based on experience, licensure, and qualifications. Bonus opportunities are available.
